The fourth annual Moshito Conference and Exhibition is to take place in the Newtown Cultural Precinct’s Museum Africa from August 22 – 25, 2007.
South Africa’s only Music Conference and Exhibition is back – and will take place over four days at the Museum Africa in Newtown, fittingly the custodian of Johannesburg’s cultural industries.
Moshito ’07 is all about the business of music and is open to delegates from a broad cross-section of sectors including songwriters, record company personnel, artists, promoters, those involved in the digital domain, engineers, producers, distributors, media, radio, and television and many others.
Over four days, industry experts drawn from around the globe and South Africa, will stimulate debate and discussion over key issues facing the SA music industry. Piracy, markets, socio-economic development and technology are just some of the topics that will be spotlighted at Moshito’07. An exhibition showcasing key industry organisations, businesses and more, is also taking place at Moshito’07, providing a great place to make contacts and network.
